Thank You!

The N5FDL Repeaters are on-the-air thanks to major technical and equipment assistance from Fred Coe, WB6ASU.

The Tracy controller is a gift from Kevin Quinn, K6KBQ.

Judi W6CJG and Bob K6VZT Greenwalt made a donation that purchased the Tracy duplexer.

There have been many other donations as well, all deeply appreciated.

Special thanks to my wife, Elionora, K6SWE for being barely tolerant of the time and money I have put into this project.

Thanks also to Tim Sivils, K6TRK, our 2-meter frequency coordinator, for his assistance.

Welcome to the N5FDL Tracy Repeater

N5FDL/R is a low-level repeater located on the West side of Tracy and beaming 60 degrees (True) toward Lathrop and Stockton. The repeater, comprised of two GE mobile radios, an ARCOM 210 controller, and Sinclair four-bottle duplexer.

The repeater provides handie-talkie coverage across Tracy and mobile coverage well into Stockton, as shown in the maps below.

N5FDL/R Coverage MapThis a preliminary coverage map, based on some educated guesses before the machine was installed.
As installed, the antenna was oriented a bit more to the south, to favor Modesto a bit more, at the expense of coverage in Contra Costa County and in parts of the Delta.
