FTM-350R Bad Navigation Video

As a demonstration for Yaesu, I drove around and documented the problems I am having with the NAVI feature of the new FTM-350R receiver. I misspeak a couple of times—reversing left and right—but the video clearly shows what I am describing and I repeat the correct information a number of times. Also, I had another crash tonight, while the radio was running in my parked car.

One way to make this video even more convincing would be to show another GPS, pointing to the same waypoint in the same view as the Yaesu FTM-350R.

This would also verify that there is GPS reception in the vehicle. Could it be that you have a coated windshield that prevents good GPS reception?

David, do you have the APRS Compass (E01) set for "North Up" or "Heading Up"? I tried to figure it out by listening to your commentary but without knowing which direction you are travelling it is hard to resolve.
